We have already allowed everyone to duplicate our material only by stating the name and link to IPC. There was no need to duplicate an IPC article and images and pretend that you wrote it. Do you really think that you can post a famous Ahreeman X article from the largest Iranian website in the world (IPC) under your name and in your blog and assume that Iranians will not notice that you stole it? It is really a shame that so many Iranians like yourself which we have tried to educate, scoop so low to these Internet crimes. Stealing Copy Write articles is a crime. Stealing Famous Historical Iranian Women by a famous author is a crime. Shame on you.

This page is remarkable! Finally a place that explains and shows strong female historical figures in Iranian history. My name is Artemis and I named my daughter Panteha (after Pantea Arteshbod). I struggled for years explaining that I do not come from a culture that always suppressed women. Many did not believe me when I would explain who I was named after so I deeply thank you for this on behalf of my daughter and myself.

Question: Do you or anyone know where I can obtain copies of the pictures (painted or photo copies) that you have posted here. It would be wonderful to have physical copies for my daughter.

hi dear,
thanks alot about your very very nice site.
you are a real persian man.
all of things were good but i like "IRAN" name more than "PERSIA".
persia is our nice historic name, but now we are IRAN and the world recognize our country as IRAN.
but it isnt important, your beatifull brain and green idea is important.
good luck and best regard.

Very fascinating reading about the Persian queens and women leading armies and indeed leading at all! I wanted to share the page on my facebook but they wouldn't allow it, saying it was spam etc.
Well, I'm going to save and share this with my daughters and son who will no doubt be fascinated too.

Thank you for this insightful site. God bless.

Hello,
Great website! So informative and educational and a true, selfless service to those of us who are interested in ancient Persian history. I am an American married into a Persian family with a deep interest in pre-Islamic Iran. The images on your site--some of which I have seen in books, but most of which I have not seen before--are very inspiring. I would love to know the sources and artists of some of them, as well as to access higher resolution versions so I can look at them in more detail. To start, who is the artist of the images of Apranik on the Queens page and what is their origin (i.e. a book, website)? Secondly, I'm interested in the guard at Ctesiphon on the timeline. Right now the Sassanid era is my primary area of interest. Many thanks for your work and anticipated reply!!
Hannah

Re: The Persian Empire.

Dear Friend,

I found your site extremely enlightening. I am working on two major projects.
(1) A Book called: Ladies in Waiting and I am looking into detailing what Queen Esther's life may have been like in Persia & other women as that matter while waiting to see the King. (2) A Children's Museum highlighting ancient middle -east history. Persia is one of the countries I would like to focus on. Obtaining information is extremely hard at times however I have visited the Metropolitan Museum in the New York and they have several exhibits highlighting this wonderful period of history. Please e-mail me so we can have an open dialogue. Have a Blessed day & yes the Lord will restore Persia back to it's original light.
Kind Regards,

SJ

I was in Iran many years ago. It is so terrible that such a remarkable people, who brought forth great men, such as Cyrus, not to mention, some truly great women, is now burdened with the yoke of Islam.
Such a shame. I can see nothing for Persia but its destruction as it is now being led by fanatics who will drag the country into war.
Nice web site. Very interesting.

Compliments on the brilliantly done website which captures the essence of the Great Persian civilization and the wonderful Zoroastrian religion. I am basically an Indian from Mumbai and I have many Zoroastrian friends from Mumbai. I have read a lot on the internet about the ancient Persian civilization to trace the roots of my Zoroastrian friends, just out of interest, and it really saddens me to discover the pain these ancient Persians have endured over centuries. I really hope and pray the day comes in these disturbed regions when people go beyond religions, race, cultural differences and start living as one with humanity and love.

Hey great website. Can you suggest me some of the books or articles I can find about the society and economy of the Sassanian Empire. Also those prophets. I'm doing a 25 page research paper on it, on how the Roman byzantine wars changed the empire socioeconomically and how it led to vulnerability to the arabs.
